Behemoth reveals Alien Hominid Invasion, a reimagining of the original

The Behemoth revealed Invasion of alien hominids yesterday a complete reinvention of the bloody and fiery co-op platform shooter Alien Hominid HD. We don’t have much to do right now other than a forty-second trailer, but more information will be coming to PAX East. The game will be playable at both PAX East in late February and EGX Rezzed in late March.

Invasion of alien hominids will probably look a lot like its co-op shooter predecessor, HD extraterrestrial hominid, which itself is a development of the original game, which started out as a Flash title in 2002 before releasing on sixth generation consoles in 2004. The explosive action never stops as gamers use a powerful arsenal , vehicles and ravenous to take down hordes of enemies.

We know very little about the game as of yet, including whether or not it’s coming to Switch (I like our chances, at least, since Behemoth just put Castle crashers on Switch last year). Still, it’s exciting to see Behemoth go back to its roots with a reimagining of its very first game. Invasion of alien hominids with all the wisdom gained from doing Castle Crashers, BattleBlock Theater, and The people of the pit, and that should give some really impressive results. It’s already easy to get excited, and it’ll likely be even easier once we learn more about the explosive invasion of PAX East next month.
