GTA Online Clip Shows What Happens When Someone Completely Blocks Traffic

Its multiplayer variant, GTA online, takes place in the same open world and allows players to compete against each other and test their skills. The vast open-world environment requires players to use vehicles to get from one point to another. Despite such a diverse assortment of cars, GTA online players often find it difficult to get the most out of it due to the heavy traffic in the game. The high number of cars coupled with collisions and traffic accidents can completely stop traffic and block the road. Reddit user LeastSuspiciousTowel uploaded a video that shows what would happen if players intentionally block the road to stop the flow of traffic. The GTA online the video begins with the player getting out of their car, which is parked right in the middle of a road, blocking traffic entirely. Shortly after, several vehicles can be seen on the road, apparently stuck in a traffic jam. The player then moves to the sidewalk to observe how the game would react. After that, an NPC can be seen running towards the car and trying to steal it.

LeastSuspiciousTowel quickly stops the carjacking and returns to his position on the sidewalk. After about 20 seconds, grand theft auto online spawns another NPC who runs to the car and steals it, almost identical to the first instance. This time, LeastSuspiciousTowel lets the NPC steal the car, eventually causing traffic to flow. The Reddit community was surprised to see this particular NPC behavior in GTA online and much appreciated the post, as evidenced by over 1,400 upvotes and several encouraging comments. Some users have suggested replicating the experience with a tank or jet because an NPC trying to steal a defense vehicle would look hilarious.

LeastSuspiciousTowel’s video isn’t the first instance where grand theft auto online NPCs attempted to steal a vehicle belonging to the player. Not too long ago, a Reddit user named Paulchen_Lichtstrahl shared a short clip that shows a GTA online NPC flying a Sparrow helicopter twice in a short time.

GTA online is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
