Earlier this month, Apple announced that more than 30 new games are coming to Apple Arcade along with two new categories to help organize its growing collection of games. With this addition, over 180 games are available for download as part of the Apple Arcade subscription service. More games will be coming to the platform soon such as Frantic overtime, Leo’s fortune, and Legends of Kingdom Rush, which will be an Apple Arcade exclusive.
Based on the medieval fantasy world of Kingdom Rush, the tower defense game, Legends of Kingdom Rush is an RPG that will have roguelike elements. The game will have you lead a group of heroes to stop an extraplanar threat of unprecedented proportions that is attacking the kingdom. You will be able to lead 5 legendary heroes like the mighty paladin Gerald Lightseeker or the shadow assassin Asra Daggerfall. Additionally, 11 companion heroes can join your party, each with different skills and powers.
Throughout the game you will learn more about the Kingdom rush universe with over 100 storytelling events as you weave your way through lush forests, rugged mountains and devastated wasteland. The game features strategic grid-based combat where you will move your heroes on a hexagonal grid to best match their skills to your combat tactics.
