New Delhi: Various ministries and departments of the Modi government have been asked to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speeches by updating the ‘PM Speech Tracker’ dashboard, as reported by The Indian Express.
The government think tank NITI Aayog organized an online training program for several ministries on December 15, 2021, to discuss the dashboard/tracker update process and other aspects of its operation.
An email titled “PM Speech Tracker Online Training Program” was sent by NITI Aayog on December 13 to Secretaries of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Road Transport and Highways, Aviation, Agriculture , Trade, Tourism and Railways.
According to The Indian Express, the email to the ministry secretaries read, “I have been instructed to inform you that an ONLINE PM SPEECH TRACKER TRAINING PROGRAM” for line ministries is scheduled on December 15, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Therefore, the ministry is kindly requested to appoint the relevant officer(s) to attend/participate in this online training program organized by NITI Aayog,”

In response to an RTI filed by the newspaper, NITI Aayog said the training program was conducted in coordination with the NIC division to understand how the dashboard works. The online training program on “PM Speech Tracker” was organized by NIC and NITI Aayog on December 15, 2021 at 3 p.m. Relevant ministries participated in the online training program. During the training, participants were briefed by relevant departments on various aspects of Dashboard Tracker and its operation process.
